Website design and strategy


I redesigned a women's health and wellness site (no longer live), including brand strategy, UX/UI, SEO optimization, which significantly increased organic traffic and user engagement


 

First year performance results:

  • Organic traffic to the site has increased by 35%

  • The newsletter audience grew from 6K to 165K

  • Users are spending an average of 6.45 minutes longer browsing the site

  • Bounce rate decreased by 11%

  • Revenue increased by 40% as a result of increased traffic and partnership with discovery platform


 

UX strategy


I simplified the user flow, added easy navigational elements to ever user touchpoint, and introduced functions that encouraged user re-engagement and interaction

 

 

UI


I built a component library and created a rudimentary design system, then implemented it responsively across all CSS elements

 

 

SEO


Best SEO practices were installed to improve indexing and discoverability and I worked closely with authors to add and standardize meta elements, and created post style guidelines


 

Discoverability


I initiated partnership with a top content discovery platform which increased traffic and generated additional revenue through ad spend

 

 

Growth


I created social media accounts and connected the team with post-management platforms with automation, and installed a system for client-sponsored newsletters and contests encouraging re-engagement
