The Problem
One white glove service performed by my UI team is to install our advertising SaaS product directly into client’s websites and apps by interpreting their brand designs and components into the front-end, creating a seamless browsing experience
The team was beyond capacity and design request queues were getting too long
My choice was to either hire multiple designers to fulfill our client’s needs or create a new product line for our mid-market clients so the team could focus on higher opportunities
The Solution
I strategized with the CPO to develop, build, and test a semi-native advertising line that could be installed by our client-facing teams without hitting my team’s design queue
UX
Building off an existing product line, my team created new user personas and flows specific to our market, then worked closely with Product and Engineering to identify and build the necessary tech infrastructure
Product design
The team conducted extensive user and industry research and we developed a native advertising line that was native to as many clients as possible with a single design while simultaneously becoming the highest-performing product on the market (KPI: CTR)
Testing
Beta testing and launch were executed flawlessly
After a successful year, I led additional multi-variant design testing for user engagement and revenue performance
The results of that test led to a 15% increase in revenue due to additional spend across the product
