We teamed with one of the largest Demand-Side Partners in advertising to gain access to their vast inventory and create a customizable audience network for our clients, but we were met with a series of challenges and blockers
The problem
This DSP was set up completely differently than other advertising providers in our network causing our existing integrations to function under our normal threshold
Solutions
I worked with Product and Solutions to identify performance errors and root causes within our auction landscape
I created a system for re-designing over a thousand live product integrations to include additional lines of text, which were required to win high revenue bids from this DSP
My team created unique templates to receive alternative calls to our database to serve DSP-specific ads
We adjusted image sizes across hundreds of high-performing product integrations to reduce error rates, which resulted in substantial incremental revenue
Growth
In order to cultivate this relationship, my team conducts monthly QAs for this DSP, which spot-check high revenue products to ensure there are no issues with user interactions
Because of these efforts, our partner has increased ad spend month-over-month, now making them almost 30% of our overall business
